Peninsula
Motorcycle Rider Education, Inc.
(PMRE, Inc.)
has been teaching and supporting
riders of all ages since 1983 in Port Angeles located
on the Olympic Peninsula.
PMRE, Inc. is under contract with
the Washington Motorcycle Safety Program (WMSP) and
recognized by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF).
At PMRE, we provide professional motorcycle rider
education
to novice, intermediate and experienced motorcycle
riders alike.
Our goal is to foster and promote safe motorcycle
operation through
quality
rider
training programs in the Pacific Northwest.
Our team of Rider Coaches is dedicated to helping you
become a skilled and responsible motorcyclist.
Depending upon your riding experience
and skill level we offer two
different motorcycle courses, Novice
Rider Course and Intermediate
Rider Course.
The Novice Rider Course (NRC) and the Intermediate
Rider Course (IRC) emphasize the risks involved
with riding a motorcycle. These risks also exist while
one practice rides during the course. Students should
be able, at a minimum, to balance and ride a bicycle.
Students unable to keep pace with
the class or who pose a hazard to themselves
or others may be dismissed
from the class by the Rider Coach. There are no refunds
for those who are dismissed.
Students who successfully complete either course
(NRC or IRC) will be presented a course
completion card. In most cases, this card will entitle
the graduate to an insurance
discount with most insurance companies. Graduates of
either course may use their completion card to waive
the
licensing skills test and the knowledge test for their
motorcycle endorsement if presented at one of Department
of Licensing offices within 180 days of completing
the course.
