We offer two motorcycle education courses:

Please note that in order for courses to run, there will be a minimum of six students and a maximum of twelve.



NOVICE RIDER COURSE
This course is designed for the student with little to no riding experience as well as riders that are returning to the road to relearn the mental and physical skills necessary to ride safely.

The NRC is 16 hours in length and includes a knowledge test and skill evaluation.
A minimum score of 80% on both tests is required to get a course completion card.

Subsidized courses are $125 per student. If the student is under the age of 18 at the time of the class, the subsidized course is $50.

Full Tuition is $250 per student.

Students Must Provide:
· Students under the age of 18 must provide a Registration Form and Liability Waiver Cthat is notorized OR signed by a parent or legal guardian in front of the class Cinstructor.
· DOT-approved helmet (program has some loaner helmets for students).
· Eye protection (glasses, goggles or face shield).
· Long sleeve shirt or jacket.
· Long pants (denim or better).
· Sturdy over-the-ankle boots. Do not wear boots that have high heels or heavily Clugged boot soles.
· Full-fingered leather gloves.
· Foul weather gear (courses conducted rain or shine).
· Snacks/lunch and non-alcoholic beverages.

INTERMEDIATE RIDER COURSE
This course is designed for the rider with a minimum of one-year and 3,000 miles riding experience. The cost is $125 per student. Students must be 18 years of age or older to take the IRC.

The IRC is 7-8 hours in length and includes a knowledge test and skill evaluation. A minimum score of 80% on both tests is required to get a course completion card.


The course teaches advanced turning, braking, and swerving skills, as well as a review of street survival skills taught in the novice class.

Intermediate Riders Must Provide:
· Their own motorcycles. Each bike will be subjected to a safety inspection prior to
Cthe start of class. Unsafe machines, as determined by the instructor, will not be Callowed to participate. Use the T-CLOCK inspection form to check your bike.
· Their own motorcycle insurance ($25,000 personal injury, $50,000 injury per Coccurrence, $10,000 property damage).
· Motorcycle endorsement, a motorcycle instruction permit, or be able to get their Mmotorcycle to the course in a legal manner.
· Motorcycle registration.
· Sidecars and Trikes are not allowed in this class.
· Passengers are allowed in the IRC for a $10 fee. The license waiver is not available Mto those who ride with a passenger. A separate completion card will be issued.
