Novice and Intermediate Motorcycle Education courses

** Please note that in order for courses to run, there will be a minimum of six students and a maximum of twelve.

Novice Rider Course

This course is designed for the student with little to no riding experience as well as riders that are returning to the road to relearn the mental and physical skills necessary to ride safely.

The NRC is 16 hours in length, covered over 3 days, and includes a knowledge test and skill evaluation. Friday evening is a classroom session. Saturday begins with a riding session at the range followed by a classroom session. Sunday morning will be a riding session at the range. A minimum score of 80% on both tests is required to get a course completion card.

Subsidized courses are $125 per student. If the student is under the age of 18 at the time of the class, the subsidized course is $50.

Full Tuition is $250 per student.

Intermediate Rider Course

This course is designed for the rider with a minimum of one-year and 3,000 miles riding experience. The cost is $125 per student. Students must be 18 years of age or older to take the IRC.

The IRC is 7-8 hours in length and includes a knowledge test and skill evaluation. A minimum score of 80% on both tests is required to get a course completion card.

The course teaches advanced turning, braking, and swerving skills, as well as a review of street survival skills taught in the novice class.
